Candle Care Instructions

To get the most out of your candle and enjoy it safely, please follow these simple care tips:

First Burn Matters

Let your candle burn until the melted wax reaches the edges of the jar—this prevents tunneling and helps it burn evenly every time.

This usually takes 2–4 hours, depending on the size.

Trim the Wick

Before each use, trim the wick to about ¼ inch (6mm) to prevent excess smoke and soot.

If the flame gets too high or flickers, blow it out, let it cool, trim the wick, and relight.

Burn Time

Don’t burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Always allow the candle to cool before relighting.

Burn It Safe

Keep candles away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Reuse the Jar

When about ½ inch of wax remains, it's time to retire the candle.

Clean out the jar and give it a second life—as a planter, storage jar, or whatever you dream up!
